Drought

My second trip to Coolah really tugged at my heart strings. While we were driving along, we became concerned that a herd of cattle had escaped. I was thinking about the poor farmer who would have to come out and eventually round up all his cattle. Little did we realise, the cattle were put on the side of the road for a purpose. The farms were barren - not much more than dirt and dust. The only feed available was growing on the side of the road. The cattle were spread far along the roadside while their owner sat helplessly watching on.
